DetailsDescription:
I'm running Postfix with "cdb" databases (tinycdb implementation) instead of the traditional Berkeley DB hash/btree files. This file database is increasingly popular amongst Postfix admins due to its better performance and smaller size. It's read only though, thus not usable for Postfix r/w databases, but it's useful to have it enabled in Postfix's rich database arsenal. Since the Arch Postfix package already depends on ldap, mysql, postgresql, sqlite etc, this very small library dependency does not add much weight. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. See http://www.postfix.org/CDB_README.html for more information. tinycdb is available in [community]. Steps to reproduce: Patch attached. I'll leave switching "default_database_type" to cdb out of the discussion here. :-) |
