doesn't work here, it freezes plasma if I try to launch it.
If launched from a terminal, it gives no output and also freezes plasma. Tried also with a fresh config file but it made no difference.

Ok then I will revert this commit, get back to a clean version and wait until upstream provide a release that enable global menu correctly.
