DetailsDescription:
The rc-script /etc/rc.d/ejabberd contains a small error that keeps ejabberd from successfully authenticating users, that were created during test run by "ejabberdctl live", when started like this. The database directory is set to /var/spool/ejabberd by the rc-script, whereas ejabberdctl uses /var/lib/ejabberd. Steps to reproduce: Start ejabberd by "ejabberdctl live" and create some users. Stop it with "q().". Then start it by "/etc/rc.d/ejabberd start" and try to login as one of the created users. |
