When clicking on a BitTorrent magnet link on any web browser, the link is grabbed by ktorrent and then downaloads the file list before adding the actual torrent. Under the "Magnet" tab, you see the link with status "Downloading" and 0 peers - THIS IS BEFORE THE ACTUAL DOWNLOAD SARTS - The link is not grabbed or has been reported by others to have taken longer than normally to do so. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=144399 Additional info: * package version(s) 4.2.1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Open ktorrent Go to any torrent links site Click any magnet link Open it with ktorrent Go to ktorrent's "Magnet" tab (on the bottom) |

This is probably fixed by the upstream patch to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302997
