Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  dbus-core depends on everything it needs to for a machine-id to be generated on installation.

What?

We explicitly added a dep of systemd-tools on dbus-core so that on installation/upgrade, /etc/machine-id is generated. This bug report makes very little sense.

in clean install the archive is not installed/exist (example netinstall)
I say functionality, but relly I referto the "function that generate if"

maybe an error or I what know
the file not exist exept if I install dbus and restart the daemon

If the archive not have a real problem the absense of this archive a simple warn in the postinstall can solve the issue

note i not use systemd
