Details

Description: John the Ripper fails with:
'fopen: /usr/share/john/john.local.conf: No such file or directory'


Additional info:
* Introduced in version pkg. version 1.7.9-5. Internal version: 1.7.9-jumbo-6_omp
* All previous packages worked ok with config in /etc/john/john.conf

Steps to reproduce:
Run 'john --test'.

Here, I get:

$ john /dev/null
fopen: /etc/john.local.conf: No such file or directory

Thorsten, did you mean to write /etc/john.local.conf in place of /etc/john/john.local.conf ?

/etc/john/john.local.conf is fine, just the first sed for the config not. Fixed with 1.7.9-6 ... this time made sure the config from the package is in place and not the customized one I used so far...
