DetailsDescription:
After installing NVIDIA 302.17 driver with GNOME, every now and then windows become corrupted and display a grid over the window content. This happens at random while using the system, affecting all the windows except few (Skype, conky-dock and youtube flash videos seem to be unaffected). The problem was solved by downgrading to 295.59. Additional info: * package version(s): nvidia 302.17-1 xorg-server 1.12.2-1 gdm 3.4.1-2 * config and/or log files etc. * GPU: GeForce GT220 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install nvidia and nvidia-utils pacman -S nvidia nvidia-utils 2. Use the system normally. Viewing a lot of flash videos seem to cause this more often than usually. 3. After some time random grid appears over the windows. |
