Description:

The deprecation of power/level makes the --detach option useless, the device is removed, but stays powered on (in the case of my USB HDD it dont stop spinning)

Additional info:

udisks 1.0.4-4
from dmesg: WARNING! power/level is deprecated; use power/control instead

Steps to reproduce:

detach a usb device, for example:
$ udisks --detach /dev/sdc

More:

I found a fix here: https://pokersource.info/show_bug.cgi?id=32056 tested and it works, i also attached a simple diff with the fix, and i understand that this should be sent to upstream, but they dont care about this version no more

udisk1 is deprecated and unmaintained, why should we care?

you should try to move to udisks2

yes, i know it, but not all programs (kde :P ) moved to udisks2 yet
this little bug may annoy someone (not me, i rebuilt udisks on my pc) until august or so
