Description:

On a vanilla installation with just base packages (primarily because the installation of additional packages appears to be broken), the installation of udev after xorg-server breaks since it states that udev conflicts with systemd-tools, yet systemd-tools is listed as a requirement of installing udev.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:

Install core only on a VirtualBox partition. Install xorg-server. Attempt to install udev and the conflict occurs.

To me this is a severe issue. I am submitting the bug since I used to love using Arch. At this point I will roll to another distro for my current needs and I am sure there are a lot of people who would do so without submitting a bug.

Wish you all the best.

Drama much?

This bug report makes little sense without seeing the actual output.

This can only go wrong with a 'core' install. since udev isn't in the repos anymore it should pull systemd-tools, since it replaces udev.
