On a vanilla installation with just base packages (primarily because the installation of additional packages appears to be broken), the installation of udev after xorg-server breaks since it states that udev conflicts with systemd-tools, yet systemd-tools is listed as a requirement of installing udev. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Install core only on a VirtualBox partition. Install xorg-server. Attempt to install udev and the conflict occurs. To me this is a severe issue. I am submitting the bug since I used to love using Arch. At this point I will roll to another distro for my current needs and I am sure there are a lot of people who would do so without submitting a bug. Wish you all the best. |
