Description:
This package requires pulseaudio. Once pulseaudio is loaded, it takes over the computer's audio.

The alsa emulation of pulse audio is not yet perfect. It causes some programs to behave incorrectly, and others to crash. I also feel, that I'm having pulseaudio shoved down my throat. This is free software, can't we have some freedom here? What would happen if you were to mark the pulseaudio dependency as optional? I uninsulated it with, but I had to use -Rdd because of this package.

yet another pulseaudio rant.
GNOME 3 requires pulseaudio hence the dependency.
