DetailsKeystrokes like CTRL+ALT+Fn or (CTRL)+SHIFT+NUM don't work with the xorg package supplied by arch. I use the same xorg.conf/windowmanager/other configs on both my FreeBSD and Arch GNU/Linux system. On FreeBSD it worked well.

Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"
in your xorg.conf.

Funny thing is: I run the same config on my freshly built LFS System, and i can switch
between VT and X11 (Virt. Mouse is also functional)...
