A minor gripe, but when installing a package that has a lower version than the one installed you'll get this dialog:

warning: downgrading package <packagename> (<version> => <version>)
(...)
(1/1) upgrading <packagename>

This usage of the terms 'upgrading' and 'downgrading' seems inconsistent. Pacman's -U option can be used for both upgrading and downgrading. Wouldn't 'installing' instead of 'upgrading' be a better term?

I think it's fixed now:
$ sudo pacman -U http://arm.konnichi.com/pool/community/abcde-2.5.4-4-any.pkg.tar.xz
...
warning: downgrading package abcde (2.5.4-5 => 2.5.4-4)
...
(1/1) downgrading abcde [#############################] 100%
