Summary and Info:
Since not very long, maybe a week or so, I have no sound with certain audio codecs using alsa as the audio outputter. My backend is pulse and the asound.conf is made to pass alsa calls to pulse but lately it does not work. It works fine with -ao pulse though. Would it be possible to have the Arch mplayer package updated to include this fix?
No issue with mp3, issue with more advanced codecs (flac is also an issue).
