DetailsThe absence of working fsck for btrfs should not be a problem for a live medium. I would like to have btrfs support in building archiso live media. Patch is attached.

archiso_btrfs.patch
how better is btrfs for this kind of dm-snapshot scheme? (space usage of COW images, ...)
mount -o remount,compress /
This writes files compressed to the cow image, saving RAM size. This is very useful when installing packages or writing file inside live system with limited RAM.
If you like I will provide a patch for archiso initramfs hook to remount automatically.
