maybe is broken since xf86-video-ati 1:6.14.5-1
try to downgrade to the older version.

xf86-video-ati 1:6.14.5-1 is working fine with libgl 8.0.3-2.

libgl 8.0.3-3 is identically with libgl 8.0.3-2. the only difference was the removing of nouveau-dri from the split build.
