Description: The current v86d PKGBUILD does not include a backup array for uvesafb.conf, which means this file gets overwritten, removing user's resolution customizations...

Steps to reproduce: reinstall v86d and reboot into a 1024x768 framebuffer...

Fix: add backup=(/usr/lib/modprobe.d/uvesafb.conf) to PKGBUILD

Additional comments about closing:  Working as intended. kmod respects a hierarchy of config files: /etc > /run > /usr/lib.

If you want to override this file, make your changes in /etc/modprobe.d/uvesafb.conf (same filename is important).
