I don't have that installed either.
Comment by Mikołaj (travnick) - Tuesday, 19 June 2012, 11:17 GMT
that's strange. On my machine with lib32-libasyncns it works and after
yaourt -R lib32-libasyncns
it crashes ...

I have neither lib32-libpulse nor lib32-libasync installed and skype 4.0.0.7-1 works fine for me.

please check if you have this files in your system:
lib32-libasyncns /usr/lib32/libasyncns.a
lib32-libasyncns /usr/lib32/libasyncns.so
lib32-libasyncns /usr/lib32/libasyncns.so.0
lib32-libasyncns /usr/lib32/libasyncns.so.0.3.1
lib32-libasyncns /usr/lib32/pkgconfig/libasyncns.pc

System monitor tells that skype is using /usr/lib32/libasyncns.so.0.3.1

skype crashes when you try to log in
