When upgrading to mkinitcpio-0.9.2-1 and linux-3.3.8-1 today, I got this error:

==> Building image from preset: 'fallback'

==> WARNING: errors were encountered during the build. The image may not be complete.

It also happened for linux-lts 3.0.33-1, in both cases only during the generation of the fallback image.

I do have libbsd (and hfsprogs) installed since more than a year and this is the first time I see this error.

This is the first time you're seeing it because this is the first time mkinitcpio is reporting it. Please post the output of...

ls -l /usr/lib/libbsd*
ldd /sbin/fsck.hfsplus

Ooops, I understand the problem now: fsck.hfsplus was a 32 bit executable, but libbsd was 64 bit. I converted my system from 32 bit to 64 bit a few months ago but didn’t reinstall all packages from the AUR...

After reinstalling hfsprogs from the AUR, the error doesn’t appear anymore.

Sorry, and thanks for the help. I hesitated between posting in the forum or making a bug report, should have posted in the forum!
