DetailsDescription:
Without extra/glib-networking installed, jabref 2.8-1 chrashes when using the web search. Steps to reproduce: The bug occured, when first using jabrefs web search on a system that never had glib-networking installed. Simply removing glib-networking does not suffice to reproduce the bug on my system. So to reproduce the bug use a vanilla system, install jabref and not glib-networking. Then start jabref from a terminal, press F5, select IEEEXplore (or maybe any other database) and send a query. Jabref should crash with the message: (process:21083): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.system.proxy' is not installed Fix: Add glib-networking to the dependencies. |
