Is this a hplip driver?
Comment by Dmitry (dimonija) - Friday, 01 June 2012, 08:43 GMT
This is separate diriver, I use it without hplip package installed

Note that  FS#30100  might be related (the problem seems to be in poppler 0.20)

I have a similar problem and believe it is with poppler 0.20. I cannot print from LibreOffice writer, various versions including 3.5.4-1; through cups, various versions; to my Brother HL-5250DN printer using the Brother driver BR5250_2.PPD. The only way I can print from LibreOffice is to revert to poppler 0.18.4 (and cups 1.5.2-1 that is compatible with that version of popple); this is what I am currently using. FWIW, I have not needed ghostscript to print for years. Also, I can print from the command prompt directly to the printer (which avoids poppler).

This report is about the Printer driver: foo2zjs. This seems to be no officially packaged driver.
You should ask in our forum or IRC for further help. If it pops out an error msg you should not hold it back ;)

FS#30100  has nothing to do with this here.

@Thaddeus: Please ask in our forum for help first. It may be a configration issue. If you think it's a packaging bug open a new
issue. If it turns out to be a bug in some source code file an upstream issue.
