  • Field changed: Summary (Missing depends for netbeans → [jre7-openjdk] gtk2 dependency)
  • Task assigned to Andreas Radke (AndyRTR)
This is because jre7-openjdk has no dependencies but optdepends on the libraries it uses. IMHO the reason for using optdepends is completely invalid now jre7-openjdk has been split into jre7-openjdk-headless and jre7-openjdk, so most of these dependencies should become real dependencies instead of optdepends.

Sure you would propably want them all in a typical desktop usage but some users would even after that pkg splitting complain again that they don't want a certain feature.
Technically it's not needed to make them all strict deps.

Gtk2 is in optdepends - so this is not a bug though the sense of optdepends(=suggested) are questionable in this case.
