Details

Description:
While trying to update udev to ver. 182-4 from 182-2, hwids has to be installed as a new dependency.
However, while installing hwids, pacman encounters a file conflict with two files:
/usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids
/usr/share/hwdata/usb.ids

running pacman -Qo on /usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids returned that it is owned by pciutils 3.1.9-1
Hence this is a file conflict with files owned by another package which should not happen.
My system is very new, I re-installed arch only yesterday via netinstall and haven't yet configured it much.

Steps to reproduce:
On my system, trying to update udev causes this error.

Additional comments about closing:  'pacman -Syu' is the only supported upgrade path.

Partial upgrades are not supported. pciutils and usbutils were rebuilt to remove these files.
