We'd like to drop tunepimp from the repos as it no longer compiles against the newest libmp4v2. However, juk depends on it. I suggest simply dropping the dependency, as (afaikt) the service tunepimp provides has been discontinued some time ago.

From the musicbrainz website (in 2009):

"libtunepimp was deprecated several years ago and uses a web service which will be turned off in the near future.

The current fingerprinting library used by MB solutions is libofa, in conjunction with Amplified Music Services (née MusicIP/MusicDNS). If you want to see an example of its use in the wild, I suggest you have a look at MusicBrainz Picard's source code."



@Andrea: while you are on it, might make sense to add libcanberra support to kmix and also taglib support (to whatever uses that).
