Could we add "--with-libjasper" to gdk-pixbuf2's PKGBUILD and add "jasper" to the depends array, to enable JPEG-2000 support?
Or is there any reason why it is currently disabled?

So *.jp2 (JPEG-2000) files are displayed in Geeqie.
(But certainly other applications can make use of this too.)
