Details

Description:
The mupen64plus emulator (version 1.99-5) crashes on launch. It seems like it's a problem with the graphic card; on another machine (with an Intel graphic card) it goes just fine. I, instead, have the problem with an AMD/ATI card (RV380/Radeon X600).

Additional info:
* package version(s)
mupen64plus version 1.99.5
* config and/or log files etc.
This is /var/log/kernel.log:

Reason for closing:  Upstream

Try launching with LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1. Also, it already sounds like an upstream bug anyway. Try a build from their vcs.

I've tried LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 but with the very same result. But probably you're right, it's an upstream problem. I'm now trying to build the software from the developers mercurial repository.

The issue occours even on a fresh compile from mercurial vcs. I've opened a but report upstream.

Did you fill the bugreport?

I reported the bug, but upstream they routed me to the freedesktop buglist.
I given up.
