After the latest update, time is displayed vertically on my panel instead of horizontally. I have a vertical panel on the right side of my right monitor. This only happens when using the digital layout. The analogue clock above it is still normal.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
xfce4-panel 4.10.0-1

* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
put a digital clock on a vertical panel

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  Changing the panel mode from vertical to deskbar solves the wrong clock orientation.

Corrected your description and removed the reference to xfce4-datetime-plugin. The problem
exists in the clock plugin which is part of xfce4-panel. (xfce4-datetime-plugin actually
works correctly in this case. :p)

Aha! Found a forum post [1] with the solution to this exact issue; changing
the panel mode from vertical to deskbar.

Can you please confirm that the above solves your issue?

That solves the problem. Thanks. Apparently I did not search well enough.

By the way. This also has a very interesting effect on another plugin. The bug in my workspaceswitcher plugin is behaving differently now. So I need to rewrite my workaround a little.
