Description: magnet URLs won't open through xdg-open with the /usr/share/applications/transmission-qt.desktop provided with this package (the client just opens with nothing). Upstream has deemed this a packager-owned issue: see http://code.google.com/p/transmisson-remote-gui/issues/detail?id=521 .

Suggested fix: Since Transmission can take URI lists more than just file paths, this line:

Exec=transmission-qt %F

should read:

Exec=transmission-qt %U

Patch attached.

Any word on this?

I confirm that this fix makes magnet links now work in Firefox. Please apply to the package.

Please report this upstream. The desktop file comes from them.

It's reported upstream but still not fixed. Can we add the link to the bug please?
