yes, i think, command are simple dbus message

and to be honest, i don't use .xinitrc, but i put the string of command entirely in slim.conf's login_cmd

Also you might want to revert whatever change you made to slim.conf's login_cmd.
removing "ck-launch-session" from login_cmd now oblogout works as it should.
i wasn't aware of the changes wrought by last update of slim-1.3.3 but i thought that command wouldn't damage after all
