Gimp 2.8 now needs the version of gegl >= 0.2.0 and the babl >= 0.1.10. These requirements should be added to the PGKBUILD, otherwise gimp 2.8 will not start on the machine with older version of these packages installed. we don't support partial upgrades. our users should always fully update their systems before installing new packages.
