Title says it all. Even in 4.8 the menu plugin already moved into xfce4-panel.

That said, libnotify is. It emits notification like Thunar when media is mounted on the desktop.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will remove the optional dependency on xfce4-panel.

libnotify doesn't need to be added because it's satisfied through another dependency, thunar.
