The current version of libmp4v2 provides /usr/lib/libmp4v2.so.2, which is newer than the one easytag needs. Unluckily, easytag doesn't compile with the version available in [extra] and there's no newer version that supports it.

Confirmed, easytag-git also doesn't compile. That sucks!!

Temporarily downgrade libmp4v2 and wait for fix.

This should have been fixed with the version I uploaded this morning (a few hours before your "That sucks!!" comment). If it is still not fixed, please let me know.

Sorry, I didn't intend to be offensive! I just feared that it might take some time till easytag will work again, because I needed it today for some files.

Anyhow, after the update easytag works fine again, thanks Tom!

No worries :-) Thanks for letting me know that it works now.

FWIW: we are now back at plain libmp4v2-0.9.1 which has a known bug (see their website). The problem was caused by shipping the snapshot that upstream recommends, but which apparently does not work well with other projects. I'll leave this alone for the time being until upstream makes another proper release.
