Description:

I have a case with an external sata bay for hotplug sata drives. Since kernel 3.3.2, a sata drive is recognized only the first time i plug it in, then the sata port is dead and I can no longer plug in other drives (or the same drive another time) until I reboot.
I found this bug report on RedHat and it seem that they have a patch for this.

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=807632

I just installed kernel 3.3.3 and the problem still exist.
Not tried yet with the lts kernel.

Steps to reproduce:
hotplug a sata drive; it is recognized.
unplug it.
re-plug it in: no drive detected
