Details

Description:
When a file is fully downloaded and correct but, for unknown reasons (maybe extremly poor wireless signal quality), it's saved as "/var/cache/pacman/pkg/man-pages-3.39-1-any.pkg.tar.xz.part" instead of "/var/cache/pacman/pkg/man-pages-3.39-1-any.pkg.tar.xz" then pacman reports one of these messages:

(73/73) checking package integrity [######################################################] 100%
error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

(1/1) checking package integrity [######################################################] 100%
error: failed to commit transaction (wrong or NULL argument passed)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

This bug report is for the lack of information about the specific package which fails.
