DetailsDescription:
When a file is fully downloaded and correct but, for unknown reasons (maybe extremly poor wireless signal quality), it's saved as "/var/cache/pacman/pkg/man-pages-3.39-1-any.pkg.tar.xz.part" instead of "/var/cache/pacman/pkg/man-pages-3.39-1-any.pkg.tar.xz" then pacman reports one of these messages: (73/73) checking package integrity [######################################################] 100% error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package) Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. (1/1) checking package integrity [######################################################] 100% error: failed to commit transaction (wrong or NULL argument passed) Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. This bug report is for the lack of information about the specific package which fails. Additional info: Pacman v4.0.3 - libalpm v7.0.3 |
