Description:

mariadb package version in archlinux is wrong and poorly in my opinion, incomplete packages and wrong functions (utf8_unicode_ci, PBXT storage engine), don't have "libmariadbclient" and "mariadb-clients".

Here have a some details about it https://labs.parabola.nu/issues/84

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.

My brother (Márcio Silva, nickname coadde) is mariadb maintainer on Parabola GNU/Linux-libre and this package is better and stable version than Archlinux version.

And this is probably why it's in community-testing first. Thanks anyway.

PS: 1) Package can be poorly packaged or be an poor package.
2) I'm not going to add libmariadbclients and mariadb-clients. It would require to replace
every library used by programs linked to MySQL and then - to do more testing than I can do. I really doubt about 100% compatible
drop-in replacement, but if you can provide that everything will work, and no one is going to cry when it turns out
that you were wrong, patches welcome or wait to the sunday.
Or switch to Parabola, your brother (Márcio Silva, nickname coadde) should be happy.
3) Whatever you means by "incomplete packages", I hadn't time yesterday to remove deprecated variables
from configuration file. I'll do it in next revision.
