It's not a bug, it's a feature. I haven't enabled it, because I'm not using it, so if
I understood correctly, you want to enable lirc in mplayer2, right?

Please, next time fill your request not as bug report, but as feature request. Empty
output of your readelf command doesn't mean that mplayer2 is broken and anything is missing.
