Package core/syslinux 4.05-4 should have extra/gptfdisk as an optional dependency, as the program requires it (sgdisk) to work with GPT type disks. Steps to reproduce: > attempt to install syslinux using the included script (syslinux-install_update) on a GPT disk. > the script will display the error "FAILED to set the attribute Legacy BIOS Bootable on /dev/sda1", where /dev/sda1 is the partition containing /boot. This likely also applies to the i386 package. |
