DetailsIt seems klaptop still uses /proc/acpi/sleep instead of /sys/power/state. Since /proc/acpi/sleep is deprecated in the new kernels options dealing with standby or suspend are not enabled in kde. In addition in order to get the current frequency kde seems to use /proc/cpuinfo instead of /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_cur_freq.
Furthermore when trying to enable helper applications in kde I get: The /opt/kde/bin/klaptop_acpi_helper application does not seem to have the same size or checksum as when it was compiled we do NOT recommend you proceed with making it setuid-root without further investigation This has happened on other distros as well so it seems its not arch specific.
