Details
Description:
unetbootin depends on either kdesudo/kdesu or gksudo/gksu in order to be able to let users run the .desktop file and authorize unetbootin. However, depending on both gksu and kdebase-runtime would be bloat. Depending on both as optdepends (the current situation) produces bug-reports, stating that the application doesn't work (and the dependencies are just optional, so it's hard to argue with this). A solution to this would be if both kdebase-runtime and gksu provides 'guisudo'. Additional info: * package version(s) gksu 2.0.2-4 kdebase-runtime 4.8.2-1 unetbootin 568-3 Related bug report for unetbootin: |
