Description:

Xsane and skanlite fails to scan in a HP Color LaserJet CM2320 MFP. Also scan resolution selector is empty.

It happened after upgrade hplip (3.12.2-1 -> 3.12.2-3)

I differ deeply. This is not "I'm not able to scan, thus I need help and I need someone to solve MY problem".

This is clearly a bug report: before the upgrade it worked, now it doesn't. Something has changed, and I haven't enough understanding nor time about this package to solve this issue in my own, more than downgrading to previous version.
