Strange: it works for me. Can you make sure your system fully up to date? (pacman -Syu)

I get the same error message with x86 (32-bit) and the system is up to date, besides from mpd now, since mpd-0.16.7-3-i686 works fine :)

Alright, it must be a subtle difference between the glib2 in [extra] and [testing]; I'll push a new package to fix this.
