Detailsupstream installs the binary in /sbin alongside init binary.
bootchartd is called as the fist process of the boot and fits perfectly well in /sbin FHS stand that /sbin purpose is: "Utilities used for system administration (and other root-only commands) are stored in /sbin, /usr/sbin, and /usr/local/sbin. /sbin contains binaries essential for **booting**" When used bootchartd is an essential part of booting. It could also be in /usr/sbin Please, let bootchartd in /sbin |
