DetailsDescription:
Apper installed newer versions of mplayer and gmplayer on an auto update. Newer mplayer crashes with signal 11 when called by mplayer. Mplayer called directly does not crash. Mplayer called from KMplayer does not crash. It is only MPlayer called as a result of starting GMplayer which crashes. New versions from apper are 1.0rc4_r34818-1.2-i586 from repository packman.links2linux.de Worked fine previously. Did an install of mplayer and gmplayer on a seperate system. Same problem - but for some unknown reason mplayer is not in the application launcher menu. On a similar system (SuSe 12.1, KDE 4.8), but a 64-bit rather than 32-bit, everything is working at this version. Problem announced on SuSe Multimedia forum - one other user has so far got the same problem. Additional info: * package version(s): 1.0rc4_r34818-1.2-i586 * config and/or log files etc. : Terminal output and package install log in attached file: trace.txt Steps to reproduce: Start gmplayer. |
