DetailsDescription: Since upgrade of linux kernel, qemu-kvm is not cleanly killed.
It stays defunct in process list. Only way to remove it : restart computer :( For example, here is what I get using ps -A 1482 pts/0 00:02:09 qemu-system-x86 <defunct> 1483 ? 00:00:00 kvm-pit-wq Additional info: [fred@fredo-arch ~]$ pacman -Qi qemu-kvm Name : qemu-kvm Version : 1.0-3 [fred@fredo-arch ~]$ pacman -Qi linux Nom : linux Version : 3.3-1 Steps to reproduce: Just upgrade kernel, and launch a virtual machine. Shut it down, and do a simple ps -A to list process. |
