DetailsI experience a problem with inotify. I had it with the kernel26mm 2.6.12.mm1-1 package and also with kernel26 2.6.12.1-1 from testing. If some program (in my case beagled, gamin, or both, all cases tested) used inotify, then the systems hangs upon shutdown when trying to unmount the partitions. It happens when trying to unmount my /home partition (I can tell from the messages during the next boot). If I shutdown my system directly w/o logging in first, it shuts down correctly.
