Details

KDE stoping at the splash screen.
Switch to console by ctrl + alt + F1 and then run "top" plasma-desktop is
using 100% CPU.
Run "pkill plasma-desktop" , Login continue. But screen is black.



System is new installation and up to date.

Did you install some plasmoid manually? (eg. from AUR?)

Please paste the output of $ pacman -Qm

No. I used only official repositories

Try removing /var/tmp/kdecache-*, or to move ~/.kde4 somewhere else, or with a new user.
