Description:
I am a new arch user, recently i upgraded kernal from 3.2.6 to 3.2.7 and later i installed virtualbox & its modules package but module fails to load on
# modprobe vboxdrv
ERROR: could not insert 'vboxdrv': No such file or directory

it also fails to load at startup (by editing /etc/rc.conf file), i can manually locate the modules under /lib/modules/extramodules-3.2-ARCH/vboxdrv.ko.gz

later i installed blender, but it too fails
$ blender
blender: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_filesystem.so.1.49.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

will i have to install my system again from scratch to the new kernal or there is a way out.
here is a view of [# ls -laR /lib] in the attached file.

Additional info:
* package version(s)

I doubt the blender issue has anything to do with the virtualbox one.
/usr/lib/libboost_filesystem.so.1.49.0 is provided by boost-libs. Do you have this package installed?

Can someone please fix the typos in the title?

3.2.7 is old, and so is the blender you've got installed. 'pacman -Syu' is the only supported upgrade path, and you've clearly done a partial upgrade here.
