python2-pyqt is an optional dependency. See pacman -Si hplip.

Repository : extra
Name : hplip
Version : 3.12.2-1
Optional Deps : cups: for printing support
dbus-python: for dbus support
sane: for scanner support
python-imaging: for commandline scanning support
python-notify: for Desktop notification support
rpcbind: for network support
python2-qt: for running hp-toolbox
python2-gobject2: for running hp-toolbox
hplip-plugin: binary blobs for specific devices

But the optional dependency should be corrected, since there is no python2-qt package.

pythn2-pyqt provides python2-qt, so it should be ok, but i'll fix it for the next release.
