Building blender earlier today I get output:

I have updated the PKGBUILD in ABS. openal and python were added as dependencies. I have confirmed that other users, and myself, can successfully build blender as it is currently in ABS.

Please post back on your attempt to build blender again. If I do not hear anything within 3 days, I will consider this bug closed. Thanks.

I continue to have problem when testing blender. Here is output when testing today, November 30th at about 3:45 PM:

==> Checking Buildtime Dependencies
==> Retrieving Sources
==> Error: openal.patch was not found in the build directory and is not a proper URL.
==> Aborting ...
==> Failed to build "openal"

Interesting, not the same as last time. Not sure which of these comes first in the sequence.

blender 2.31a is now the current version in the Arch repos. Have you attempted to compile this version?

I had run 2.30 at my last report but a minute ago I ran 2.31a just to see what would happen. I'm still getting the error regarding openal.patch. Sorry to relate that.
