Dwarf fortress will not play any sound by default after installing from multilib because additional 32 bit libraries are required (such as lib32-alsa-lib). Without doing this, starting the game results in Sound devices available: No Output My request is that 32 bit libraries for sound (lib32-alsa-lib, lib32-libpulse, etc.) be added as optional dependencies. Additional info: * package version(s) 0.32.04-1 * config and/or log files etc. original: original output without lib32-alsa-lib installed. pos_lib32-alsa-lib: output after lib32-alsa-lib installed. Steps to reproduce: Install dwarffortress from multilib on x86_64, then run without having 32bit libraries for your sound system installed. |
