Template:Grp does just that and Arch front page has a link to package groups so ...?
Do you want to be able to search for packages AND for package groups from the same page?

More precisely: search for package groups separately from packages but in similar manner (both i686 and x86_64 versions of group should be displayed).

You can hack the url to get or . Simultaneous selection doesn't seem to be possible.

There are also groups for single architecture (e.g. Well, this is feature request - it should be closed as soon as everyone refuse to implement it.

Patches welcome, but it is as easy as forming the URLs above when looking for a group.

I don't know if I'm interpreting Alexander's thought right, but since he replied to I guess he would like to have architecture-independent results for group searches, with "duplicate" entries for packages that exist for both architectures (they have common package name and group name but different architecture). At least that's what I was thinking of when I started that discussion.

It would be a lot better to add group in the packages UI, for search them and see the dependency from package to some group.
